Bridger biathlon race 2/24 canceled due to cold temps and high winds
Congrats to all participants who race yesterday, and Thank you to all volunteers who helped make it a great day. Results from yesterdays sprint race are posted under the Events tab. We hope to see you all out again soon.
There are a couple of exciting opportunities this season for Youth biathletes in the US and we want to make sure you know about them!
February 13-17 as part of the IBU Biathlon World Cup in Soldier Hollow Utah the United States Biathlon Association will be hosting a youth camp for athletes ages 14 and 15. This will be a great opportunity for people to get to see Biathlon at the highest level up close while getting to learn from some of the best in the world. NORWAY!! Once again the US will be sending a group of athletes to Norway to compete in the Liatoppen Biathlon Festival. This is an amazing opportunity to experience the culture around our sport with over a thousand kids ages 11 to 16. The US will be selecting a team of 8 to 10 athletes, ages 14-16 for girls and ages 15 and 16 for boys. Bellow you will find attached the info sheet provided by Marc Sheppard of Altius Handcrafted Firearms, the US organizer this season.
